Those elements are essential when you have stiff surface where is not possible to put the geophones for the acquisition with the DoReMi.
Holder and Tripod are usefull for passive seismic (ReMi,  ESAC/SPAC) and for active seismic acquisition (MASW, Refraction, Reflexion)
