Reflection seismic is a technical evolution of rifrazione seismic.
This technique has been particularly popular in oil and mineral exploration; oil companies have constantly developed and expanded this subsurface analysis technique, allowing for ever greater detail and precision.

In recent years, with the reduction in instrumentation costs and the spread of powerful PCs, this approach is gaining popularity in the geotechnical field for soil characterization, cavity identification, and the study of buried structures, especially where traditional techniques have significant limitations or where an excellent level of detail is essential, especially at depth.

The MARW method was designed and developed for application in geological contexts where Vs30 and/or detailed deep seismicity are essential. Thanks to collaboration with professionals (GeoEnergizers and LPGeognostica), both in the development and in the experimentation and testing phases, this technique has been used in urban planning.

Another example of reflection is the common offset; in this case, we acquired a dataset with our DoReMi to search for cavities and underground utilities.
