GEOPHYSICS

This section illustrates our current production of devices for seismic investigation and soil charachterization, as well as different kinds of sensors.
Don't overlook the software section!

DoReMi - The cable seismograph

This innovative seismograph embeds and distributes a modular seismograph with a one-to-one channel scalability all along the cable. This is an electronically comprehensive seismograph. It is a light, practical and very high performance device:

- Ideal solution for MASW, ReMi, Refraction, etc.
- 127dB of dynamic range at all available sampling frequencies
- high noise immunity
- 64k bytes memory (30k samples)
- sampling from 5 millisecond (slow) up to 50 microseconds (FAST)
- up to 255 channels per string

Here a couple of videos taken during one of our test sessions.
The DoReMi was connected to a palm device Acer N300.
(We apologise for the low quality of the video. It was made  on the fly during a survey test on the field. We will post better images as soon as possible)

Digitizers up

brochure
SR04C3 3 channels 24 bit digitizer
Due to its exceptional low noise at low frequency, our SADC20 a/d converter (originally designed for weak motions -i.e.
micro-earthquakes- recordings) is particularly suitable for geophysical investigation, such as soil characterization surveys according to the Nakamura methodology.
Sensors recommended for this applications are the HS-1 2Hz. They can be either embedded in the instrument, using the HS1PACK, or
external using the SS-20. A cheaper solution is the use of either 4.5Hz internal geophones, using the GS11DPACK, or the external seismic unit SS-45.
Although the SR04 is optimized for electrodynamic sensors (velocimeters) it can be used
also with thirdy parties sensors such as Gur__p, Kine__s, Nano__cs or Lenn__z.

Recorders up

SL07C3 3 channels 24 bit recorder
With the same high quality
signal of the SR04, the SL07 is capable to record on SD/MMCX flash memory cards.
It can be used together with sensors of many kinds and gives excellent results on Nakamura's method surveys.
Sensors recommended for this applications are the HS-1 2Hz. They can be either embedded in the instrument, using the HS1PACK, or external using the SS-20. A cheaper alternative is the use of 4.5Hz internal geophones, using the GS11DPACK or the external triaxial unit SS-45.
Although the SR04 is optimized for electrodynamic sensors (velocimeters) it can be used also with thirdy parties sensors such as Gur__p, Kine__s, Nano__cs or Lenn__z.
Due to its
very low power consumption (only 1.5W), the SL07 seismic unit can be used also in remote istallations with a small external battery.
